Exporting
.wav Files from Roland VS-2480 via Hard Drive
Looking for an alternative to exporting .wav files
to CD?
Here is one way to do it.
First, copy your project from your Roland VS-2480's
internal hard drive, to an external hard drive, such as the Song-Vault
Pro SATA version.

Next, remove the external HD from the SCSI enclosure
(With the Song-Vault Pro, you simply turn a key, open the door, and the
drive pops right out)...

Place the drive in an external HD dock with either
USB or Firewire connection to your PC or Laptop...

Then use the VSWaveExport
Software to pull all the tracks out of your Roland VS-2480 project
file and into your computer.
If have an extra 5.25" bay in your computer,
you can install a matching SATA drive tray, thus bypassing the need for
an external, desktop HD dock for your computer.

Even if your PC does not have SATA... no problem. There
are SATA to IDE converter cards available.
If you own (or are thinking of purchasing) a Song-Vault
Pro SATA unit and want to use it for .wav export, drop me a line. I can
make you a deal on a SATA HD tray (and if needed a SATA to IDE converter
card) to install in your computer.
